    Conway Stewart No. 28 (Stock#1874)

The Conway Stewart 28 was made from the late forties to the early sixties. This glossy black example is a substantial pen at 13cm capped. The gold plating shows wear on the lever. There are no bite-marks or cracks but there are scratches on the cap (see photo). The cap and barrel threads are good and the pen closes firmly with a half turn. The large, original No5 nib is a firm medium. A new sac has been fitted and the pen fills and writes well (see writing sample).
