    English Waterman 515 (Stock#2780)

This glossy burgundy English Waterman 515 pen dates to the early 1950s. It is a substantial pen at 13.4cm capped and 16cm posted. The gold plating shows wear throughout. The cap and barrel threads are good and the pen closes firmly with a single turn. There are shallow scratches on both cap and barrel (see photographs) but there are no cracks or bite marks. The large original 14ct English No5 nib is a firm fine. A new sac has been fitted and the pen fills and writes well (see writing sample).

A high status pen and an excellent writer.
