    Rare Conway Stewart 340 (Stock#1484)

The Conway Stewart 340 is a very uncommon pen. I might go so far as to say that it is rare. It is one of Conway Stewart's very few button fillers. This green marbled example measures 12.2 cm capped. It closes firmly with a single turn. There are no cracks, major scratches or bite marks. The barrel imprint is clear (see photo). The clip screw, blind cap and section are black hard rubber. There is no cap band, giving an unbroken pattern the length of the pen. The 14 carat gold Conway Stewart nib is wet, broad and firm. A new sac has been fitted and the pen fills and writes well (see writing sample).

Because it is so uncommon and in very good condition this is a collector's item but it is also a practical writer.
