    Selsdon (Stock#2875)

In black hard rubber which has faded to a pleasing chocolate brown, this is an early Selsdon. The pen measures 14cm capped. The gold plating is worn. The pen is decorated with a Greek key cap band, a subtly patterned arrow clip and a peaked clip screw. The pen closes firmly with two turns. There are no cracks, scratches or bite marks. The barrel imprint is sharp and clear. The warranted 14ct gold nib is medium and flexible. A new sac has been fitted and the pen fills and writes well.

A fine example of this lesser-known British brand, and an outstanding writer.
