    The Croxley Pen (Stock#2117)

John Dickinson & Co, who remain a major manufacturer of stationery products, built a factory at Croxley to make their own brand of fountain pen. The design, with its arrow clip echoed by the lever and its tapering shape, is a pleasing one. Croxleys have better than average gold plating and the nibs are always good writers. This late forties green marbled Dickinson Croxley measures 12.7cm capped. There are no cracks, major scratches or bite-marks. The gold plating shows some wear, particularly on the lever. The barrel imprint is worn but legible. It has the original 14ct Dickinson nib which is a semi-flexible medium. A new sac has been fitted and the pen fills and writes perfectly (see writing sample).
