    The Nova Pen (Stock#2686)

The Nova is one of those pens that no one seems to know much about. This one with its semi-hooded nib appears to date from the 40s or possibly the 50s. The pen measures 12.5 cm capped. The glossy black plastic has survived well apart from some superficial cracking on the clip screw (see photo). The gold plating, which was probably not much more than a wash, is largely worn away. The barrel imprint is crisp and clear. The pen closes firmly with 2 1/2 turns. The gold plating on the steel nib has mostly gone. The nib is a firm fine.

The pen would make an excellent everyday user. It is a very pleasant writer.
