    Waterman 52 (Stock#3122)

This is a rather splendid early Waterman 52 in black chased hard rubber. The chasing on the cap and barrel is quite worn and they are faded to chocolate brown. The barrel imprint is worn but discernible (see photo). The pen measures 13.6 cm capped. There are no cracks, scratches or bite marks and the barrel band is stamped .375 (9 carat gold). A new sac has been fitted and the pen fills and writes well (see writing sample.) The 14 carat gold Waterman Ideal nib is medium with appreciable flexibility.

A fine old 1920s pen and an excellent writer.
